Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Konbini Drop collects, why, and how long we keep it. We collect as little as we can.
1. What we collect
- Photos you post, with the nickname, country and comment you choose to add. These become public once approved.
- What we remove: before a photo is stored, it is re-saved by your browser and again checked on our server, which removes location (GPS), camera, date and other hidden data. We never publish your account details or email.
- Security data: to stop spam and abuse we keep a one-way scrambled code made from your network address (we do not store the address itself), and the time of your post or report. This code is deleted after 30 days. If you delete a photo, or we remove or don't approve it, your nickname, country and comment are deleted with it.
- Reports you send about photos, with a one-way code (not your IP address). Deleted after 30 days.
- Contact messages you send us, kept for up to 1 year.
2. What we do not collect
We don't ask for your real name, email, phone number or address to post, and we don't sell personal information.
3. How long photos are kept
- Photos waiting for review are deleted if not reviewed within 30 days.
- Photos we don't approve are deleted right away.
- Published photos stay until you or we remove them. Removal requests are handled within 72 hours.
4. Services we use
- Cloudflare (United States) hosts the Site, stores photos and runs bot protection (Turnstile). Data may be processed outside Japan, including in the United States.
- Anthropic (United States) provides the AI that checks each uploaded photo for people, personal information and whether it shows the product. Only the photo, the item name and your nickname and comment are sent. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
- Google (United States) shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised ads at Google Ad Settings. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before such cookies are used.
5. Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct, delete or stop using personal information about you, including photos. Depending on where you live (for example under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information or the EU GDPR), you may have further rights, including the right to complain to a data protection authority. Contact us at the address below; we answer within 14 days.
6. Security
We use encrypted connections, limit access to posts waiting for review to authorised staff, and log administrative actions.
7. Children
Posting is only for people aged 16 or older. If you believe a child has posted, tell us and we will remove it.
8. Who is responsible
Personal information on this Site is handled by Konbini Drop Operations Office (Konbini Drop 運営事務局). On request through the contact form, we will tell you without delay the full name and address of the business that runs the Site and the name of its representative, as required by Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
