Konbini hot counter: fried chicken, buns and oden
How to order from the warmer by the register, and what is in season.
Every konbini has a hot counter next to the register. Each chain is known for its own fried chicken, and in autumn and winter steamed buns (nikuman) and oden simmering in broth appear.
How to order
Bring your other items to the register and ask for the hot item by name, or point at it. The staff will bag it separately. Saying 「これください」 (kore kudasai, "this one, please") is enough.
