Famichiki hash brown burger
A crispy, crunchy double-fried burger. Famichiki and a hash brown from the same hot counter, stacked in a soft roll. A fast-food-style burger with two textures.
What to buy
- FamichikiファミチキFamilyMart's best-known hot snack: a boneless fried chicken thigh with a crunchy, peppery coating and a juicy inside. Sold hot from the case next to the register; point at it or say the name.
- Hash brownハッシュポテトA flat, oval patty of grated potato, fried until crisp outside and soft inside. Also in the hot case at the register.
- Soft bread rollsロールパンPlain, slightly sweet Japanese rolls sold in packs of four to six in the bread aisle. Soft enough to squash around the fillings.
How to make it
- Pay for the Famichiki and the hash brown last so they stay hot. The staff will put them in paper sleeves.
- Split a roll open with your fingers.
- Put the Famichiki in first, then the hash brown on top, and press it together.
